PARTNER UPDATE: ACP LAUNCHES

new obesity medicine member forum

acp-member-forum-imageInternists with an interest in obesity medicine have a new, online meeting place designed to encourage conversation about the field. The American College of Physicians (ACP) recently launched a new Obesity Medicine Member Forum, which replaces the former Obesity Medicine Special Interest Group (SIG). Approximately one third of all American Board of Obesity Medicine diplomates are internists.

This new format gives all ACP members an opportunity to join the discussion around obesity medicine. To access the Member Forums, ACP members should log in and then navigate to the Forums page: https://www.acponline.org/forum

ACP’s Member Forums provide members with an online meeting place to network with colleagues who have similar interests and career goals. Within this members-only online community, ACP members share experiences, seek solutions, and gain the valuable perspectives of their peers. It is an ideal place to ask questions, provide feedback, share obesity-related information, cultivate a network and enhance the field of obesity medicine in general.
